Shari and Nick knew of each other since 5th grade but did not start hanging out till 10th-grade year in High School when Nick asked Shari to Homecoming. This picture sums up the awkwardness that surrounded their relationship in 10th grade.

New school year approached and Shari and Nick decided to get to know each other again. Nick got extra points for coming to Shari's soccer games. The two continued to become better friends.

2020 was a mess for everyone but for Nick and Shari, it was the first year they started dating! This picture was their interpretation of a corsage since their junior prom got cancelled.

Senior Year approached, Shari and Nick went out with a bang and enjoyed being able to attend their senior Prom since they could not go last year.

Class of 21'! Shari and Nick graduated from Triway High School and got accepted at Liberty Unviersity in Virgina for their first year in college! Nick pursed a career in youth ministry while Shari decided to go for Exercise Science.

Their first year of college was a blast! So many new friends and growth came from Liberty. But God had something new instore for them.

While Liberty was an amazing experience, Shari decided to switch careers to Occupational Therapy which Liberty did not offer, so began Shari and Nicks experience of long-distance dating, but with that came fun trips to new places like New River Gorge in West Virginia.

In October, Shari came home for the weekend for what she thought was a "surprise" birthday party for her mom. But little did she know Nick had been planning something special. Shari's sister, Katee, told her to search for her dog around the barn, as Shari entered, Nick, who was supposed to be in Virginia, came around the corner! With that, Nick asked Shari to marry him and she said yes! Though they still have to continue their long-distance relationship till May, there is a lot that God has planned for them!
