Here’s a little story about how we came to be.

It was around Labor Day weekend 2019, and I was home in bed bored, and scrolling on Instagram. A mutual friend posted a story with one girl I knew from high school and a fine, FINE woman that I had never seen her post before. I messaged her like “who’s your friend??” She told me it was Sharisse, and gave me her social medial handle. I didn’t pursue her immediately, but I always watched her page and admired from afar.

A couple of months later, while in Australia for a boxing camp, I was scrolling on social media again, when suddenly, my eyes were blessed with a beautiful picture of Sharisse in a white dress in Miami that made me say “noooo sah.” I had to make my presence known in some way. I messaged her! We laughed and talked for 3 weeks prior to us meeting in person for the first time. Her energy was pure and addicting and I’ve never missed a step with her from the day I first hugged and kissed her.

I made a mental note to myself from that point to give her the best of me and put my best foot forward because she deserved the best. I’m blessed to have this lady by my side.
