Eternally grateful to have Sharon and Jason as some of my closest friends that I can celebrate the Jewish holidays with. I know that as we get older we will continue embracing traditions and enjoy the Jewish festivities together. Looking back at this memory, I love that we celebrated a night of Hanukkah together, with latkes and a lot of love, and I know we have many more years of this to look forward too.

Iceland 2019…our night stranded in Thorshofn after a camper van off-road excursion gone wrong…don’t go chasing waterfalls, I guess…illegally poached Atlantic halibut, insane dinner and great laughs that night at Baran. $600 dollars and a new oil pan later it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. Just another reminder that things always seem to work out when we’re together. Hot springs, waterfalls, freak volcano-top blizzards, starry nights, northern lights, and nine days of van life in some unreal nature…can’t beat it.

I look forward to the many more great adventures with you and Sharon to come, and am so grateful for your incredible friendship over the last 16 years.

Los amo…

Tali Edgar - Maid of Honor

Sharon is my sister with whom I grew up. As kids, we didn't get along, but that doesn't mean we weren't close. We fought a lot, but we still hugged after each fight. After that phase, we became closer and did so much together, including going to high school, college, and medical assistant school. Although I miss when we were together every day, I am so happy that Sharon met Jason because she truly has found her other half. I chose this picture because it was the first trip we all took together, and on that day, I saw that our family was going to grow with more love and more people. I look forward to many more silly pictures with you guys!

Picking my favorite memory with Jason is a borderline impossible task. But if I had to pick one, it would be his law school graduation. We had dinner with his mom, sister, and grandparents, and his grandpa led the parade of celebration over a few glasses of champagne. For the next two hours, the six of us laughed, shared memories, and bonded over our mutual pride over Jason’s incredible accomplishment. Being able to share this moment with some of the most important people in his life made me feel like family, and is a memory that I’ll cherish forever!

Side note from Sharon - this picture was on Jason's Hinge profile and I originally thought that Elliot was him lol

Stephanie Schechter - Bridesmaid

As Jason’s sister, I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate his and Sharon’s love and be a part of this wedding—as well as gaining a new sister in Sharon. This photo was last summer, when our mom had a summer fiesta to celebrate her birthday while my partner Ben was visiting from Australia. I will always cherish this time spent blending our families and look forward to bringing everyone together again for the wedding of the century!

Growing up in suburbia, we always found creative ways of entertaining ourselves. We would regularly skate and play video games on one of our streets after finishing our homework, doing things like putting trash cans on top of skateboards and riding them, fastening boogey-boards to our skateboards, or tying a rope to one of our cars and towing each other at high speeds. Hard to believe we were solving calculus problems and skating in trashcans hours apart, but if that’s not a metaphor for our friendship I don’t know what is. Perhaps this picture of us trick-or-treating in our Mario costumes is more flattering than us inside trashcans ;)

I met Sharon in college. Sharon, Tali, and I spent hours in the library talking about our love lives and our futures–and occasionally we’d do our homework. It would be easy to feel discouraged when every dating app had disappointed us and our project on somatic markers was due at midnight. But those hours in the library gave me hope. Sharon helped me believe in myself. Tali and I tried to do the same for her but we weren’t as effective as Jason would soon be.

When she met Jason, Sharon flowered. She grew in strength, trust, and optimism. Jason and Sharon make each other not just more joyful, but more patient, confident, loving, and beautiful. To me, this is true love. We’ve graduated but I still get nostalgic for our days in the library. I am so blessed that I still have Sharon, and now my dear friend Jason too, to turn to for fun, sympathy, advice, and hope.

Jason and I have apparently known each other since pre-school, but our friendship really solidified in high school when he burned me my first electronic music CD to listen to in my car. As small of a gesture as it may have seemed at the time, he didn’t realize how big of an impact it had on me.

I was going through the most difficult period of my life taking care of my Mom who was battling cancer, and those days felt as lonely as you could possibly imagine. Then Jason and his unending positive energy, loyalty, and incredible taste in music came into the picture. He’s been my best friend ever since.

This picture includes three of the groomsmen found on this page at one of our first EDM concerts together way back in the day. To me, it’s still one of the best nights of my life because at that moment, I knew I’d made best friends with people who truly had my back forever - and here we are! Jason’s love, care, and genuine nature have been a constant in my life ever since and I’m beyond excited to be there for his wedding this summer.

Sharon is my big sister, but she also raised me since I was a baby. She has always been there for me and helped me through anything in life. I love her so much and I am so happy that she found Jason. I am the same age as Sharon was in this photo!

We committed to 6 weeks of no-shave November together, and on the last day we gave ourselves fully blown muttonchops that would make Wolverine jealous. We braved it with going out to bars that night and needless to say had an absolute blast. When it came time to clean up the next day, I find Jasón shaving to the song Reflection from Mulan. We couldn’t stop laughing.
