Our Wedding

We met online and had our first date at Beeryland in Oakland. Calvin was so nervous he got there early, hoping to settle his nerves at the bar. When Sharon arrived, she confidently ordered food, thinking they'd share. But Calvin was too anxious to eat - so Sharon ended up eating everything by herself. Despite the awkward start, we instantly hit it off. We couldn't stop talking and didn't want the night to end, so we kept hopping from one bar to the next, completely wrapped up in each other's stories. Since that night, we've shared countless meals, heartfelt conversations over drinks, and endless adventures. Through it all, we've become truly inseparable - and we're so excited to continue this journey together, surrounded by the people we love.

Our relationship first started in Marin when Calvin was working for Mill Valley and Sharon was working in Tiburon. Guesthouse became "our spot" where we would post up at the bar and have dinner and drinks. This was our halfway meeting point. The food and drink here is delicious and comforting. Calvin loves his Jameson on the rocks, and Sharon loves her Vieux Carre, followed by a glass of the white Bordeaux, and the "Coffee Date", which is Guesthouse's play on an espresso martini. Oh, and of course, they have Fernet.

Farmshop is another one of our spots we loved to frequent while working in Marin. Calvin had discovered Farmshop and we quickly became regulars here. Try the Chicken Liver Mousse or the Carmelized Meyer Lemon Pizza.

We came here after a 12 mile hike, which mind you, was our second date. Calvin knew that the way to my heart was through my stomach and after that much laborious physical activity, we stopped by this restaurant for a beautiful lunch by the water. Order at the counter, grab your number, and find yourself a seat! What we love: raw oysters on the half shell, steamed mussels and fries, steamed clams, and garlic bread.
