Sharon and Floyd were introduced in 2010 at Nathan Philips Square, Toronto. The friendship that began there led to a friendship between the D'Souza and Noronha families. The rest is history!

On the Thanksgiving long weekend of 2017, a trip was planned for both the D'Souza and Noronha families to Ottawa. It was at this trip that Floyd surprised everyone, got down on one knee and popped the question. Sharon was overjoyed and said yes!
