Jamie and I met on the campus of Flint Community Schools (FCS) District April 2017. I was in the process of leaving the district and Jamie was returning back to the district after a brief retirement break.
As the Athletic Director,for approximately 3 months Jamie reported to me. From the first
day Jamie and I met, I immediately picked up on his very kind, supportive and gentle spirit. He was phenomenal to work with. Very hard working and dependable.
Upon and after my departure from FCS Jamie checked on me often. After several weeks of checking on me, Jamie invited me to dinner. We met early that evening and talked until the restaurant closed at midnight!
From that point on we talked EVERY DAY! Visits became very frequent and we quickly became each other’s support system and best friend.
Seven years later….we have developed a bond that has connected us in a way that allows us to experience a love that we never knew existed.
We give honor to God for bringing us together and we are beyond grateful for all of our family and friends that have shown us nothing but love and support throughout our journey together.
We are excited to celebrate our nuptials with those we love and hold close to our hearts in an intimate setting. We look forward to each of you joining us in celebrating our new beginning.
