We kindly request semi-formal wedding attire such as cocktail length dresses or a suit and tie.

Ceremony will be held outdoors in the beautiful garden area outside of the venue, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will be under an awning and dinner and reception will be indoors in the beautiful remodeled barn.

We have reserved a hotel block for Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th at Homewood Suites by Hilton Frederick where the bride and groom are staying for the weekend. Please see our “Hotels” page for the hotel block code! (We would love if you could join us there but we have also provided a list of alternative hotels on our travel page. All of the hotels are in a relatively close vicinity.)

There will not be a shuttle to and from the hotel but if people would like to coordinate carpooling, we can help facilitate this. Since the ceremony and reception are in the same location transportation will only be needed to and from the event & there will be ample parking at the venue for those who chose to drive.

Our venue has ample parking spaces and there will be venue staff directing you on where to park. We will be the only event on that particular day so all parking will be pretty straightforward.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Dulany’s Overlook. 7701 Dance Hall Rd, Frederick, MD 21701

Both BWI (Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport) and IAD (Dulles International Airport) are similar distance from the venue and hotels.
