Shauna and Mike met on a dating app called Hinge. They went on their first date to a pizza restaurant in Manalapan, NJ. They proceeded to go on three more dates before the Covid-19 shut down occurred. During that time Shauna was studying for her PT board exam and the couple did not see each other for 6 months. They continued talking, however, and were able to start dating again later in 2020.

Shauna is a pediatric Physical Therapist in Cranford, NJ and Mike is an Operations Manager at a national retailer in Watchung, NJ. Shauna and Mike moved into their apartment together in Watchung, NJ with Shauna’s dog Snickers in August 2022. Mike proposed to Shauna on August 9th, 2023 at Stony Hill Farm in Chester, NJ in the center of their sunflower field. While proposing he said he knew from the very first date that she was the one!
