Shane and I met in February 2013 while I was a freshman and he was in his first year at Brockport, after he transferred from the Merchant Marine Academy. We met at a college party and when we left he sent me only 6 digits (& no area code) of his cell number through social media. We connected and the rest is history!

After our years at Brockport, we moved to Buffalo so I could start my masters in school psychology and Shane started as an operator at a power plant in Niagara Falls. After a year there, he moved back to Syracuse (his home city), and I got to spend my time with my three best friends at UB (my lovely bridesmaids Emily, Ashley, and Rachel).

In 2017, I moved to Syracuse to live with Shane in his first house in Liverpool and I started my internship in school psychology. In September 2018, I started my full time position as a school psychlogist in ESM and Shane continued at Covanta Onondaga. Within the first week of school, we moved into our second home in Cicero. In November, we got our first fur baby, Remy. In June 2019, Shane proposed at one of our favorite spots in nature at Green Lakes with Remy right by our sides.

2020 hit and our lives were put in an awkward standstill, as everyone’s were, and we crossed our fingers that we’d still be able to get married the way we pictured in July 2021. We got our second fur baby, Beau, in January 2021, and we love the craziness that he has brought us. We are eagerly counting down the days until our wedding and we cannot wait to celebrate with delicious food, amazing music, and most importantly, our family and friends! <3
