We met through a mutual friend. What started out as a friendship grew into so much more.

He broke down with a flat tire on the way to pick me up. We ended up having to go to Walmart to get his flat fixed then had Italian.

He took Jayden who was 5 to go pick out my ring. Then promised him a nerf gun if he didn't say anything. They got home and Jayden couldn't help himself he just started saying "just say yes mommy." So, Nick went and got the ring in fear that Jayden would tell. He proposed in front of the kitchen sink. Needless to say, Jayden never got that nerf gun.

The first time we allowed the kids to meet. We went on a hiking trip and had all meet up there. We grilled hotdogs and did scavenger hunt with the kids. That was also the first time we said I love you.
