The bride and groom originally met 3 months before they ever went on their first date. What brought them together? Well, a dog of course! Kendra was at a work event with fellow coworkers and Shawn was walking his dog, Brutus. Kendra being the animal lover she is asked to pet and before they knew it Brutus crawled over the bushes and fence and joined the work event. While Kendra's good friend Sarah fed Brutus tator tots Kendra carried on a conversation with Shawn all about dogs. They parted ways that evening and wouldn't reconnect for a few months later. Upon the first few dates Kendra felt Shawn looked familiar but couldn't figure out where she would have known him from. Until the date Shawn planned where they walked Brutus. At first sight Kendra knew she had met Brutus before and he surely remembered the tator tots. Love blossomed from there and Shawn was always by Kendra's side. They combined their fur babies together and even added a fur baby of their own together (Puppy Baxter). The rest is history and they have been creating memories everyday since.
