Some love stories start in a school or a store,

Maybe a gym, or a show, or a bustling dance floor!

But the story I’ll tell you - if you care to hear,

Starts on an app in 2019 - a truly grand year!

The app was called Bumble,

where two men could meet,

To find love and laughter,

and a date that’s so sweet.

That’s where Shawn matched with Nathan, or Nathan with Shawn,

After weeks of fun chatting, their first date was on!

They met at Athen’s, with nerves in the air,

But their laughter and smiles made a wonderful pair.

Their date went so well, the talk was so bright,

They skipped the movie they planned for that night.

Instead, they walked ’neath the stars in the sky,

Shared their first kiss on a park bench nearby.

First date turned to second, second to third,

By then, Shawn knew Nathan’s voice was the best he’d ever heard.

As boyfriends they flourished, it soon became clear,

They’d found something special, heartfelt, and dear.

Shawn thought each soul has someone to call “Mine”,

And he found Nathan was on his mind all the time.

As months turned to years, and “I love you’s” were shared,

Shawn felt the love in his heart, deeply declared.

When Christmas arrived, Shawn had a plan,

A note for Nathan, his wonderful man.

He had a big question, with a ring in his hand.

Down on one knee, with a grin from ear to ear,
