This story roughly begins on December 1, 2019, after an intense card game of War, during Shawn and Grace's Junior year of college. Yet, the building of their relationship began long before that. During their first semester at Concordia, Shawn talked Grace into going to Olive Garden instead of eating at the cafeteria. Little did they know that they would be looking back on that day as their technical "first date". As the second semester of Sophomore year rolled around, study sessions, "non-dates" and the on-going text began. However, it was not until the third year that both agreed to call these "non-dates" dates. Then a card game began it all. Neither of them planned for the other to be in their life, but they couldn't imagine their life without the other. Now, after waiting for more than two years, Shawn and Grace will be getting married on January 6, 2024 at the same spot they met, started dating and got engaged.
