Jayce and Shawna met at Florida State in 2010. Jayce always likes to say the first time they met they were at a party at Shawna's townhouse in Tallahassee and she made fun of him, but she's pretty sure he made that up!

In the Spring of 2011 they shared a seminar style math class and Shawna noticed Jayce (always walking into class late). Before one of the classes tests, Jayce reached out to a mutual friend to set up a study date. Jayce pretended to need help in the class and Shawna actually did. After their study date they were pretty inseparable.

Since then Jayce has been drafted by the Mets and spent months at a time traveling the country. Shawna has followed him to Atlanta, Greensboro, Clemson, Cape Cod, Brooklyn, Savannah, Port St Lucie (easy traveling), Binghamton, Las Vegas and countless other cities to visit Jayce on his baseball journey.

As much as they love their priceless visits away, nothing beats having Jayce home for a few months at a time. They love nothing more than game nights, watching movies, Jeopardy battles, trivia nights with friends, dining out, dining in (as long as Jayce cooks), hanging out with Simone and Bear, and spending time with family.

They cannot wait to be husband and wife and share this special day with you!
