The Story of How he Chase'd' Her and Naylor'd' Her!

It’s amazingly crazy how many turns and detours our relationship has encountered, but still lead us back to each other.&nbsp; In 2008 our paths crossed for the first time. He was a career cat showing me around “THE MERIDIAN HIGH SCHOOL” where I was an incoming freshman. During the tour I asked my bestfriend who is he? That guy is fine. “I know sounding like a hot girl” my friend replied, that’s Chase Naylor, you don’t know him. Me , nahh but I had every intention of getting to know him.HA! After school I dived into his DMs on Facebook and long story short: he replied with his number saying I’m about to head off to college, but we could be friends.&nbsp; Years passed and we talked as friends here and there, but in Fall 2011, what a coincidence we were both attending The University of Southern Mississippi at the same time, but were both in relationships. Complicated ikr!&nbsp;We would hang out here and there but never pursued a relationship together in college. Fast forwarding things to 2016 we had both left Southern Miss and back living in Meridian. He was single and so was I, but I was also a mother now... We would go on dates privately which turned publicly quicker than we thought. Things were actually good &amp; VERY FUN!!&nbsp;I met his mother and I knew things were real then. I went from a single mother to full support from him and his mother as if Dallas was their own.&nbsp; The way he provided and cared for Dallas drawn me closer to him because I was set on not having anymore kids and at that moment I knew if the time ever came he would be an excellent father if we ever had our own together. God definitely has a funny sense of humor; but so do we.&nbsp; In 2019, we welcomed our son Cashè Naylor in the picture. Things got interesting and rolling quickly. Shortly after Cashè was born we bought our first home together &amp; celebrated a lot of FIRST together. Fast forward to the GOOD PART after 7 years of dating in September 2023, Chase decided to take things up a notch. He asked the question and that was the easiest yes I’ve answered. I don’t know who was more excited him from me saying "Yes" or me because your girl got some bling on her ring finger! I was happy about him asking me to say the least. Since then, we have been planning our dream wedding.&nbsp; What started off as a high school tour,&nbsp;&nbsp;to college link ups, to adulthood “adulting” has been nothing short of amazing. I’m ecstatic that God placed us together to grow and experience so many different stages in our lives together.&nbsp; We are looking forward to starting this new chapter of life together making beautiful memories with our beautiful kids.&nbsp; Cheers to the future Naylor's!
