Shaya & Payam

Our Story

There was a girl named Shaya who, despite her academic and career success, always felt there was something... or rather someone missing from her life. She had been on a journey looking for her perfect match, leaving no stone unturned. With each hard life lesson she encountered, she gained self-awareness and insight which would help to guide and motivate her--while continuing to embrace her family values and unwavering selflessness.

There was a man named Payam, who despite his accomplishments, believed true happiness was nothing more than a myth. Words can not describe how wrong he was. It is human to believe that material things can bring you happiness, and Payam was hypnotized by this virtue. Shaya was the only one who could break him free from this false paradigm. The truth is that love is the most powerful mover of man, and that without it, true happiness is scarce.

We have synergy between us. A balance: A yin to each yang, a negative to each positive, a complementary opposite force. Shaya gives Payam hope: hope that people aren't inherently bad and that his frustrations from business and life are temporary--In turn, he is relaxed knowing he is surrounded by such a supportive and positive person. Payam gives Shaya confidence, confidence that she is the kindest, and most thoughtful person he has ever had the pleasure of knowing-This shows in Shaya's energy as she tackles the problems of life with her head up, and without hesitation. Long story short--Shaya is the yin, to Payam's yang and their love can not be captured by words, but we are doing our best.

We are ecstatic at the thought of spending the rest of our lives together, and possibly adding a few new members to the family down the road for our mothers and fathers (and aunts, and uncles and cousins) to play with. We are excited to announce our engagement to embark on a lifelong trek of betterment, evolution, and happiness.
