Our Wedding

Matt and I met in the summer of 2021. I was 1 week away from heading to Purdue for college and he had just graduated from IU East the winter before. Our first date was at the local County Fair, which I was extremely nervous about! The first 15 minutes went terribly. We were both awkward, didn’t know what to talk about, and ALOT of people were around. Then it started to rain. Not just sprinkling, like full blown pouring down! Matt asked if I wanted to sit in his truck to stay dry- I of course said no thank you. (Like who in 2021, wants to get stolen by a big blonde dude anyways haha!)After 10 minutes of getting soaked from the rain, Matt asked me again if I wanted to sit in his truck and I agreed. After loading up into his truck we finally got the chance to talk to each other with no one else around. It didn’t take long for me to know that I had met the most perfect person for me! We talked for hours before he finally drove me over to my car at the end of the night. We truly hit it off like I never thought was possible with another person and began dating a few weeks after. Now, 4 years later we find ourselves ready to get married and cannot wait for everyone to celebrate with us!
