"She talks a lot, but she's nice. Hire her." That's how Catie described Savannah nearly eight years ago to MBJ's Editor-in-Chief, Tiffany Brazda. I'm not sure how Catie would describe me today, but, I can tell you how I'd describe her. Determined. Adventurous. Compassionate. Humble. Patient. Loyal. She's simply one of the best people I've ever met, and I'm so grateful to have her by my side.

Travel. Coffee. Books. The three things that kicked off my relationship with Sydney are the same things we continue to enjoy together. Along the way, we've added brunch, musicals, and trash tv. We've laughed at the funny things her kiddos do, and we've talked about the more serious things in life. Sydney's different perspective has allowed me to grow in ways that might not have been possible otherwise. I am so grateful to have her by my side.

I'm not sure how common it is to have a cousin who is not just a family member, but also a dear friend. But, I am blessed that Cherisa is just that. From playing under the stairs at Grandma's house to celebrating the birth of her daughter, our friendship has spanned decades. I am so grateful she'll be by my side the day I say "I do" to my best friend.

A fellow hobbyist turned family. In the short time following college I found myself becoming the best of friends with this guy. Hobby, D&D, and bettering ourselves as people amongst growing common friends. Blessed to call this man, brother.

My long time friend and brother from the frozen lands of Alaska. We grew up terrorizing Omaha and raiding the local gas station of its snacks on late night hangouts. Excited to have such a long time connection and to share such a moment with close family.

My fellow college going roommate and he who hails with the Buckmeows. Chris and I met in college and ventured through it all together. A close member of my family and friendship. Blessed to have met and continued to know this man.
