Anna is my (Shayna’s) closest in age sibling! She is not quite 2 years older than me as I was born 12 days before her 2nd birthday— thus resulting in many shared birthday parties throughout the years! Fun fact: Anna is anosmic!

Kara is 3 years younger than me (Shayna) and one of my very best friends in the world. We share the same taste in everything from movies and music to academic pursuits. We majored in the same thing in college, graduated from the same university, and lived in the same dorm room! Fun fact about Kara: She is a huge Elvis fan!

Krista is Shayna’s eldest sister and has always been a person she can go to about anything; she is one of her closest confidants. Shayna’s favorite things about Krista are her empathetic nature, her person-first mentality, her Christlike example, her humor, and her ability to make you feel loved when you least deserve. Fun fact about Krista: She has her own baking business and could bake you anything you dream up!

Alissa is my second eldest sister and is one of the most hospitable people I have ever known. She and her husband have let me move in with them on two different occasions when I was needing a place to stay and never asked a thing in return. Alissa is selfless, hard-working, a yummy cook, and a wonderful friend. Fun fact about Alissa: she once was in possession of 20-30+ animals at one time! She is a huge animal lover and our house was a literal zoo growing up thanks to her;)

Alayna is the youngest in the Aukerman clan! She was adopted into our family from Guatemala when she was 8 months old and we couldn’t imagine our lives without her! She’s too sassy to handle sometimes but has a heart of pure gold. Fun fact about Alayna: she makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches ever!

Heather and I met our freshmen year of college in the dorm hallway waiting outside the bathroom. We talked there long after the bathroom freed up and we’ve been best friends ever since! Heather and I got an apartment together after college and deemed it the bachelorette pad (RIP). Fun fact about Heather: she has two golden retrievers (Clive and Daia) who are her furbabies.

Amanda and I also met at college as she was Heather’s roommate and they both lived across the hall from me. Amanda and I were taking trips across the country together searching for a graduate program to enroll in together when I met Andrew and spoiled our plans. Sorry Amanda! Amanda is one of the kindest and most intelligent people I know! Fun fact about Amanda: Aviation was her first Love and she has always dreamed of becoming a pilot one day.

I had been invited over to a friends house and was lounging on their couch when their front door swung open and in walked Shy whom I had never seen before. Neither of us knew the other had also been invited over and we glared at each other territorially for a good few seconds before deciding to give each other a try. Since that day we have had countless sleepovers, attended numerous concerts, been at each others graduations, visited each other at college, gone on family trips together, attended church together and were even coworkers for a brief while! Shyanne is hilarious, beautiful, and a friend you can always count on to make fond memories with. Fun fact about Shy: She’s as much of a Colts fan as I am and we attend a game together every year.

Brother of the Groom Joe is My (Andrews) only older brother. He shared rooms with me growing up creating great memories. Joe has taught me a lot of patience and kindness. Often followed him around and did everything he himself was doing. Including backyard sports video games, tagging along with his friends. Through his actions he has taught me how to be a friend. Fun fact about Joe is that he is the king of fun facts!

Sister of the Groom. Courtnay is my (Andrews) eldest sibling and sister. Growing up with Court was the pretty fantastic. She was always conducting a theater act or always offering a listening ear to all her younger siblings. All siblings would be often found in Courts room giggling and carrying on before bed. her room was the hangout for sure. Fun fact about Courtnay: She was a nanny in France for roughly a year.

Sister of the Groom: Liz is my (Andrews) closest sibling in age, being two years older than me. I would often find myself in Lizs motherly care growing up. She always would be looking out for me and made sure I was always treated fairly. Always a good big sister and helper at anytime. She is happily married and has her first child, and first grandchild for Roger and Lori. Fun fact about Liz, She is a mortician.

Brother-in-law of the Groom; Cory has been basically part of the family ever since he started dating in middle school, that's the same year Luke was born. Cory grew up in the same church and Youth group as me (Andrew). Cory has been like an adopted older brother ever since he has been introduced into the family. Many Sundays, Wednesdays, Saturday nights, church camps were spent in Cory's company. Fun fact about Cory: he played Lacrosse in high school.

Sister of the Groom Kelley is my (Andrew) first younger sibling. I had never thought, when I was younger, of the possibility of having a younger sister. At the age of 7 Kelley came into existence. Initially I was bummed at the idea of a sister, but over the years grew close with Kelley. Having late night talks with my middle school sister as a high schooler isn't the usual family dynamic portrayed in movies ofr films. Talks about Jesus and how to follow him have made mine and Kelleys relationship a treasured one. Kelly is now graduating High school this year and thinking about higher education.

Cousin of the Groom: Aaron and I (Andrew)grew up and spent several summers together. Having a Dad in the military, Aaron has lived in Arizona, Texas, South Carolina and now resides in North Carolina. Being the same age we had a great time playing and creating lots of memories together. He has always been a great friend as well as a cousin. I consider him like a brother. He is a grad from NC State. And recently started taking online classes at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Brother of the Groom Luke is the youngest of my (Andrew) siblings. We shared a room growing up, so there was a lot of conflict about bed times among other disputes. I had a lot of fun showing Luke how to play sports and how to do just about anything really! Luke tells it like he sees it. He is always conjuring up plans. Defiantly was/is a classic little brother. Luke is a Freshman in High school. He plays soccer, and basketball for the school. I am honored to be his big brother. Fun fact: he made varsity on the soccer team.

Friend of the Groom: James and I(Andrew) became friends in high school, through Younglife and football. Over the years, James has shown me a lot about following Jesus through his actions and Love for others. I had the pleasure of seeing James transition from not knowing Jesus to knowing him. James wears his joy in his lord like a badge. I can't say enough about him. He now is married and just recently took over a landscaping company. Fun fact: James and I shared time in the backfield in high school
