Our Wedding

Shayna moved to Charleston, South Carolina, in May 2022 not knowing a single person. Just a few days after arriving, she went on a date with Parker Bass, a James Island local who, as luck would have it, lived just two miles down the road. Our first date started with fire and ice shots at Snapper Jacks, followed by a walk on Folly Beach and this quiet sense that something really good had just started. Fast forward three years. For our anniversary, Parker recreated that first date, with the same shots, a bottle of prosecco from Bert's Market, and a rainy run down to the Morris Island Lighthouse. That's where he got down on one knee and proposed. Now we live together with our two dogs, Maggie and Forrest, and retired Thoroughbred, Solo. Life is full of beach days, fishing trips, horse time, and lots of laughter. We are so excited to move into this next chapter together and cannot wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people. Expect good food, a live band, strong drinks, and a wedding that feels just like us.
