We had just arrived in Rosemary Beach on Saturday for a week long family vacation. Sunday morning, Tony came up with a plan to trick Shea into walking over to the dock overlooking the beach where he planned to propose. He called her dad to ask him to have her walk down to the beach to let him up because he was "locked out" while trying to "rent washer boards". After some resistance on Shea's part, she eventually, begrudgingly, walked over to the dock, and after even more convincing, Tony asked her to walk over to the pier overlooking the beach to "see what these kids were doing". He had written "Marry Me" in the sand, and eventually Shea realized the message was for her. He got down on one knee, asked the question, and of course she said "yes"! Though it didn't go exactly as he planned, the most important thing to Tony was that Shea was surprised, and she most definitely was!
