As with many modern love stories, this one began on the dating app, Hinge.

Shea liked Tim’s profile and he quickly matched back. Tim struck up a conversation and asked Shea out…twice. With zero success. Life got busy and distracting for both of them and ultimately, they just stopped talking.

Shea was in Mexico, working on a show when her mom called and said, “Who is the cute guy you’re talking to and didn’t tell me about?” Shea was confused because, at the moment, no one. Unbeknownst to Shea, six degrees of separation had kicked in.

Tim was hanging out with friends and mentioned a cute girl he had been talking to. He said her name was Shea and showed his friends a picture. One of Tim’s friend’s knew two of Shea’s closest friends. She mentioned it to them and like good friends, they told their mom, who eventually told Shea’s mom.

It all seemed beyond coincidence, so Shea’s mom encouraged Shea to reach out. So, she did the brave thing and followed him on Instagram. He followed RIGHT back.

When Shea returned from Mexico she asked Tim to meet for a drink. It’s obvious how that date went.
