Some people are born with brothers, but Colton was fortunate enough to meet his in Grade 9. Quin and Colton have grown a lot in this time.. from a full Honda Accord trunk of clothes and skipping class to working and creating families. Quin is a loving husband, incredible father of 3 beautiful kids, and is the hardest working individual Colton has ever known. Quin has always been the most supportive and caring best friend, fitting the role of Best Man like a (golf) glove.

Taylor and Shea met in 2015 and have been through major life phases ever since. Taylor has always been Shea's biggest supporter. While weekends on the dance floor are (sadly) behind them, their relationship continues to grow over yap sessions at BP's, occasional sleepovers (that most definitely include sending Leighton for McDanks fountain pop), deep dives into Taylor Swift theories, dark humour and "running errands" to Winners. As Shea's best friend, her choice for Maid of Honour was a no-brainer. Shea is beyond excited to have Regina's hottest (and smartest) nurse stand by her side.

Jon and Colton met in grade 9. Clearly this was a great year to meet life-long friends. After realizing they were the only 2 cool kids in French Immersion, their friendship took off. Jon is a runner (he's a track-star). Well, he was anyways. Now, he is a bum. Jon and Colton's relationship is simple: make fun of each other. If you ever need an intellectual conversation or want to learn new words, Jon is your guy! Aside from this, Jon is an incredible human. He is an amazing dad and husband, and will bring all the laughs on the big day!

Jacoba had the pleasure of training Shea at an old job in 2017, and truly bounded during their misery (for legal reaosns, this is a joke). Jacoba, James and the kids moved about 60 times before settling into Alberta (sucks to suck, east-coast). Shea and Jacoba have always made the distance work in the best millennial way: Facebook memes and Instagram reels, mostly revolving around motherhood and tequila! Shea is incredibly grateful to have found such an easy friendship and cannot wait to spend a whole day with her pal.

Braven and Colton's dads are best friends, which resulted in the two of them growing up together. Braven and Colton played hockey together, and when they weren't playing hockey, they were crushing video games and ping-pong like a couple of nerds. They even put a few holes in the wall with mini-stick games. Braven can be very quiet, keeping to himself. But, don't let that fool you - he's working hard in the background to earn everything he has or doesn't (like beating Colton in a round of golf). Braven is getting married June 2025 to the wonderful Jenni, and Colton (&Shea) can't wait to celebrate with them on both days!

Back in 2012, Shea and Shelby met at Rona. They both worked in customer service and most shifts were scheduled for 7 am, conveniently right after a night out at the Pump. Shelby definitely holds some of the most 'eventful' stories about Shea's early 20's. Thankfully their focuses shifted to career-driven moms. Shelby is a powerhouse - business owner, Realtor, mom to a busy boy and the number one fan of Tanner while attending baseball and hockey games. These two have planned their weddings just two weeks apart (as them how they're doing). Shea is excited not only to watch Shelby tie-the-knot, but also to have Shelby by her side as she does the same.

The Myth, The Man, The Legend. This guy is everything you want in a friend. Look up "Salt of the Earth" and it'll read "Tyson Canning". Colton & Tyson share the same mindset - if they want it, they achieve it. Colton & Tyson met in hockey at roughly 13 years old, and the love never stopped. Colton admires that Tyson always tries to find the positive in situations, is always up for a round of golf or to stay in and watch hockey, and especially loves when Tyson cooks Colton a nice meal. It is a miracle that this wedding isn't for them.. But, the love isn't just shown for Colton, as Tyson is always kind to others and truly the life of the party. It made the most sense to have the most lovable, fun guy as not just a groomsman, but the Officiant!

Czena and Shea may be 11 years apart, but it feels like they are always on the same wavelength. Czena just gets it - maybe it is the introverted side of them or their shared views and values, but whatever it is, she has always been someone Shea can connect with on a deeper level. In so many ways, Czena reminds her of Nanny (Colton & Czena's grandma) with her quiet strength, independent and free spirit, and the unshakeable love for family. Czena is a remarkable woman, and Shea is excited to officially call Czena her sister.
