Shedrick and I were introduced through mutual friends. At the time of us meeting I was Single but not looking and Shedrick was single as well. His friend would ask me did I call his friend after having the number for 2 weeks. I said no sir I’m not calling no man. The man is suppose to call the woman. So Shedrick finally calls but he stated I called him first. We talked maybe 5 minutes and he said, where you at I wanna meet you in person. I was at Albertsons and it seems like when I came off one aisle he was coming up the other aisle. So of course we both liked what we saw , and follows up on the conversation. Upon us talking everyday on the phone and also falling asleep plenty nights on the phone we realized how much similarity we had amongst one another. Shedrick has a big heart and so do I. Shedrick love to help his family and friends, so do I. But the most important thing we shared was He Knew God. I’ve always prayed and asked God to send me someone that truly loved and valued me and someone that will put God first and me 2nd. To know Shedrick he has a great sense of humor. My grandmother loved Shedrick. She told me “That’s gonna be your HUSBAND” I smiled. She said I got my dress picked out. So in the back of my head I’m like she knows something I don’t. So every holiday or birthday I was thinking here comes my ring. Lol my grandmother remind me that Love is Patient, Love is Kind. She said that you are beautiful, your heart is pure and your special day is coming. So finally Christmas 2023 while opening up Christmas gifts he comes in after acting as if he didn’t have a gift. I was definitely shocked and he gone say girl what you gone say my knee hurting. And of Course I said Yes!!!
