Our Wedding

Chad and Sheena met through a dating app (a modern day love story). It was a cold, icy, January Sunday evening when they decided to have their first date at Sushi Station in Rolling Meadows. Nothing beats rotary sushi, especially for two sushi lovers. The date was going so well even though it was freezing outside that Chad suggested to continue the date at the bar next door (RIP bar next door, it is now a different establishment). Let's just say the rest of the evening went so smoothly that they decided to continue to date for the next few years...(that's a lot of dates!)Our love story has survived COVID-19, Sheena graduating graduate school, different job opportunities, and everything else in between. We have learned, laughed, cried, and sat in silence many a times in the 6 years we have been together. We even grew our family to Sheena and Chad + Klaus, our schnauzer mix dog who we love dearly (He's a guest at the wedding! Don't miss him!) As a couple, we feel that we have had so many opportunities to grow together and we cannot wait to continue this journey as we head towards marriage and beyond.

Registry

The Village of Arlington Heights will reserve 50 parking spots with safety cones near the top of the 4th floor, just before the 5th floor, of the Vail Avenue Garage. Please feel free to move the cones in order to make use of these parking spaces. -- Downtown Arlington Heights is hosting "Harmony Fest" between October 3rd through the 4th. On October 3rd, the fest starts at 5 PM until 11 PM. Please plan accordingly with parking, as it may become crowded on Friday evening. Harmony Fest is held between the streets of Vail and Campbell. Metropolis Ballroom has a parking garage right next to it. The parking garage is "Vail Avenue Garage" at 22 S Vail Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Due to the Al Fresco, it is advised to enter through Sigwalt St if the parking garage is the desired parking space.
