Am I allowed a plus one?
Your invitation states if you have a plus one. Otherwise, to accommodate ALL of the important people in our lives we did limit the number of extra guests.
Are children allowed?
No children, other than those in the bridal party, will be allowed. Please make other arrangements for your little ones! Sorry for any inconvenience! We hope that you are still able to attend without them!
Where should we stay? When should we book?
We have booked out rooms at the local Holiday Inn from 6/6/24-6/9/24 for your convenience. Please use our travel tab to find information on where to book!
Hotel blocks will be saved until the first week of May- so be sure to book asap! as we cannot guarantee you a room will be available after that date.
Will there be an open bar?
YES! HOWEVER: We have opted to purchase the Beer/Wine package only. If you would like to contribute to the bar- please bring any beer/wine to the Stock-the-bar party, or rehearsal.
Thank you in advance!!!!!
Unfortunately there will be no alcohol permitted other than beer or wine.
The venue is strict on this, and will ask anyone with spirits (hard alcohol) to leave the premises.
Do we need to bring cash?
We will be participating in the traditional Dollar Dance!
- The dollar Dance will happen toward the end of the reception and will be announced by the DJ. This is a long standing tradition and a unique way for guests to show their support for the newly wed couple.
- What happens?
-The Dj will announce the dance, and those wishing to bless the couple, will line up toward the dance floor
When the music starts, each guest who wishes to dance, with either the bride or groom, will hand them a monetary donation ($1-$any amount), and may dance with them for approximately ten seconds or until the next person is ready to cut-in.
This dance lasts until the last person has been able to participate or until the song is over.
