It all began on October 13, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Sheena and Josh were in the same space for the first time, though their first impressions couldn’t have been more different. Sheena saw Josh and immediately thought, “What a nerd.” Meanwhile, Josh took one look at Sheena and thought, “Wow… she’s absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.”

After the meeting, they both joined in hospitality with Josh’s parents, Sheena’s family, and other brothers and sisters from Sheena’s hall. Josh, though a bit nervous, took a leap of faith and tried to impress Sheena—with a cheesy pickup line. To his relief (and delight), she burst into laughter, completely smitten by his charm.

Sheena wasn’t sure where this connection would lead, but something about Josh intrigued her. Wanting to keep in touch, she asked for his Instagram handle. That same day, Josh sent her a message, letting her know how wonderful it was to meet her. From that moment on, they kept talking, their connection growing stronger with every conversation.
