Our story isn’t like the ones you hear from the romance movies, the very idealistic ones full of expectations, or like the girl who finds the perfect man or the man who finds the perfect woman. It’s nothing like that. And that’s okay, because this is reality.

We are two imperfect individuals who chose and choose to love each other every day regardless of the battles. We believe that Jesus is the one who defines love, He chose to die for us all while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). We were undeserving of His
love, but yet he freely gave it to us to live in eternity with Him in heaven. So that’s how our relationship was possible. Only because God had mercy and grace on us. God worked in our lives in ways only God could. He’s allowed us to grow and mature from ways we would’ve never known unless we hit rock bottom.

Therefore, our love is strong because of that. We continuously keep Christ in the center because we know without Him, there is no us. We never knew how much we needed one another until it happened. Day by day we are becoming who God called us to be individually and together.

Love is a choice, and we choose to love each other until death do us apart. We are not only bestfriends, but we are absolutely in love with each other. I can’t wait to see where God will take us in our journey!
