Our Wedding

Once upon a time, a boy packed up his life in Indianapolis and moved to Chicago, chasing new opportunities and a fresh start. Around the same time, a girl—thoughtful, funny, and just a little tired of dating—was very close to giving up on the apps altogether. But then, one last swipe changed everything. They matched on Hinge and talked for a while, the kind of easy conversation that doesn’t feel forced and somehow keeps going. Eventually, they decided to meet in person at The Franklin Room. That night included lots of laughter, an awkward realization that their salmon was undercooked, and a bartender who seemed inexplicably annoyed that they dared to sit at the bar. None of it mattered—because from that moment on, it was history. Life quickly filled up with adventures and love. They brought together their two stinky puppies, Mylo and Millie, officially starting their silly little family. They discovered a shared love for travel, exploring the world side by side in places like Brazil, Croatia, France, Spain, and Costa Rica—collecting memories, inside jokes, and stories along the way. Ian proposed in Park City, Utah, beside a quiet lake with mountains rising behind it. The spot was perfectly secluded, and Ian was acting so strange that Shelby genuinely wasn’t sure if he was about to propose… or murder her. Thankfully, it was the former. Today, they live together in Chicago, building a life filled with love, laughter, dogs, and adventure. They are so excited to celebrate this next chapter and can’t wait to share an unforgettable night with everyone they love at their wedding.
