Our story is built on small moments that became the foundation for the life we’ve built together. We both have an idea of when things slowly were set into motion, but timing is important. And in most cases, “timing” means you have to wait.


We met through playing league softball with friends. After some of the games, the team would go out to eat and just hang out. In the early going, there were never any sparks, nor did either of us show interest in the other. We were just there to spend time with our friends. In doing so, we became friends. The weekly softball games, team dinners and softball group chat slowly gave way to1-on-1 texting. We would randomly text each other Tiktoks, jokes, talk about music/concerts, softball, and life in general. By now, we had attended a couple of concerts together, but only as friends. Through all this time spent, a mutual interest was slowly unfolding (even if one of us wouldn’t admit it) One weekend, we were both sick, but agreed to spend time with each other. We had an in-house date to watch Super Mario Bros. movie and eat pizza. It was the first time we were together where it felt like a date. Over the next couple of weeks, we spent more time together. But, remember that statement about timing from earlier?! It wasn’t time for us and after a few dates, it was over. After a few months pass that carry some occasional flirting, we end up together at a Mexican restaurant for dinner…alone. This would be the night where it all changes. For the first time, both of us admitted our feelings for each other. Day after day passed with more communication. More dates were planned. More time was spent with each other. The timing was finally perfect. I don’t feel like it took either of us long to realize we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. On July 12th, 2024, we got engaged.


We are very extremely excited to have you all join us as we celebrate our marriage on January 11th, 2025.
