It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of our wedding, which was originally planned for July 11, 2025.

As many of you know, we have recently experienced an unimaginable loss. Chris’s beloved sister, Nicole (Nin) Falkowski, passed away unexpectedly on September 6th, 2024. In light of this, we have made the decision to focus on healing, supporting our family, and caring for her two beautiful children, Ella (7) and Caden (5).

Nin was not just our sister, she was the heartbeat of our wedding planning. She walked every step with us— touring our dream venue with us, sending daily wedding ideas, buying decor, helping Shelby find her wedding dress, and even finding the perfect veil online. No one was more excited than Nin to see her brother get married. Her joy, her energy, and her creative touch were woven into every part of our plans, making it impossible to imagine this day without her.

In her honor, we will hold an intimate ceremony next year where we will celebrate not just our union, but the incredible love and light Nin brought into our lives. We know she will be there in spirit, guiding us, as she always did.

We hope to celebrate with everyone in more personal ways. Whether it’s grabbing a drink, sharing a meal, or simply spending time together, we look forward to these moments with you. Your love and support mean the world to us during this time.
