A guy walks into a bar....

I know what you're thinking, but this is actually how it starts. Where were we, ohh yeah. A guy walks into a bar, he sees a girl that catches his eye, asks her if she wants another, she says no...

And that's how this lovely couple met, in Chico California on August 30th, 2017. I know your next thought, how do you get from a "no", to a wedding? Well get comfortable and take a seat.

Later in the night we ran into each other again, talked, danced, and ended up having a wonderful night. We have to take a second to give a shoutout to our two best friends Kayla & Jacob; had the two of them not been there that night, we never would have met. Fast forward to November 11th, 2017; Shelby was surprised with a beautiful picnic by a waterfall outside of Chico, and we officially became girlfriend and boyfriend. We enjoyed the remainder of Daniel's senior year in Chico California. The following year, when Daniel moved back to Hickman, we maintained a long-distance relationship. Shelby then relocated to the central valley and the couple found their new home.

During our time living together in Turlock, we have gone on many adventures. From hikes at Yosemite, to snowboarding trips at Dodge Ridge we have found many beautiful ways to experience life together locally. We also had the joy of getting our first passports together on our 2022 Mexico, Puerto Vallarta vacation. It was an amazing experience accompanied by a group of our close friends.

On November 11th, 2023, after six years together…. Shelby was excited for a lovely anniversary date at a surprise restaurant. For those of you that don’t know, we weren’t really going to a restaurant. November 11th, 2023 was a very special day that had been in the works for months proceeding. But to Shelbys knowledge we were on our way to a restaurant. On the way “to the restaurant” we had to make a “quick pit stop” so Daniel could pickup some work equipment that he left at the barn. This quick pit stop would forever become a memory engrained in the couple’s lives. The couple was able to share an intimate moment together for the engagement followed by a second surprise, as our friends and family were waiting outside to congratulate Shelby and Daniel on the engagement.

Now on October 12th 2024, we are beyond and excited to experience the next chapter of our lives with all of you.
