Our Wedding

The story of Shelby and Trenton

After packing his mom's Ford Explorer, Trenton hit the road and moved from Utah to New Mexico. As he walked through the Mesilla Valley Christian School hallways, scoping out his new work place, he spotted a cutie named Shelby and walked right past her. As he walked by without a care in the world, Shelby liked what she saw and started writing the story. Through countless free meals and drinks, it took Shelby asking Trenton to go hangout to get things going. After that, things just seemed to fall right into place. One hangout turned into another, and another, and next thing you know February 14th 2024 became more than just another holiday. After spending an entire summer in a car together, it was clear that this was it. If Trenton could survive a Texas family summer vacation, and Shelby could survive his families Christmas vacation, there wasn't much to question about the story. On April 5th 2025, Trenton's knee hit the ground, starting the writing of the next chapter of life together.

Sarah and I have been best friends for ten years. We first met at a Ariana Grande concert and since then, we have been inseparable. Our favorite things to do together is sing 2000's music and watch 2000's movies. She has been with me through all the ups and downs. Our late night drives, dinners at Andeles, and Disney Channel movies are all things that I can't do without her. I couldn't ask for a better person to be by my side on this special day.

Alyssa and I have been friends for 19 years! We have so many special memories together, from us meeting at church as kids to being number one Justin Bieber fans. Alyssa and I have grown up together and I cant wait for this next chapter knowing that she will be with me through it all.

Amber and I met in 2019 at work. We hit it off so well that she has become one of my best friends. We share so much laughter together, we sing Cheetah Girls, and overall create the best memories together. I know she is one to have my back, but will also be the life of the party!

Jayde and I grew up together in church. I've have had the blessing of calling her my sister-in-law for eight years. Through those years she has blessed me with my wonderful nephews, Braxton and Waylon and provided me love and support as needed. I'm so glad my brother chose to marry her, and can't wait to have her by my side.

Brothers by chance, but friends by choice. God truly blessed me with the smartest, most funny, and gifted brother anyone could ask for. Whether it be wiggling his ears or a celebrity voice impersonation, Cole always knows how to make the gloomy days better. After all the tears and laughs we have shared, I couldn't think of anything better than to have my little brother by my side on this special day.

Where do I begin? From the playground, to the classroom, to the soccer field, and Xbox party chat, Brandon has always been my best friend. Since the days of our mom's being in PTA, and my dad yelling at him for his loud laugh at three in the morning, Brandon and I have practically been brothers. This special day wouldn't be complete without my best friend standing by my side. #ShakeN'Bake

What's better than a little cousin?A little cousin who also plays the role of a close friend. When you think about what family is and what a close friend is, Zander is the definition of that. The love, care, and emotion he pours out truly is a blessing to my life. One of the highlights of my day is when that ESPN chime goes off on my phone, because I know that within one minute, Zander is going to be texting ready to dive deep into some sports conversation.

What's better than a little cousin who also plays the role of a close friend? TWO of them! Slater brings love, care, and humor to my life each day. Whether it be through text, face time, or an Xbox party chat, Slater brings tears to my eyes from laughter. After countless nights of Xbox until three in the morning, Slater truly has become more than just a little cousin. Nothing would make me happier than to have my little buddy and close friend standing by my side.
