Where will the ceremony & reception take place?
Both events will be held at the same location. The Sporting Club at the Farm 4939 River Road New Albany, IN 47150. There is an upstairs of the venue which will also be used throughout the event.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin punctually at 5:00 pm, please arrive no later than 4:45 pm.
Where do I park?
There is unlimited free parking available. Please follow the signs upon entering.
Can I leave my vehicle there overnight?
Absolutely! We do not want anyone risking to drive following the event when drinking has been involved.
What time is the reception over?
Sadly, they won’t let us stay all night. 10:30pm last call and music cuts off at 11pm everyone must be out of the venue by midnight.
Is there a dress code?
We would love to dress up with you! Semi-formal is the attire and we ask you refrain from wearing shades of white. For example, girls are welcome to wear any dress of any length, but it may be chilly so covered legs would be best. We ask that our male guests wear slacks and a button down with the option of a sports coat and tie.
What will the weather be like?
We will be entering some chilly weather so please plan accordingly. The venue is equipped with space heaters and a fire pit. To get to the bathrooms you must walk outside and on gravel so please have appropriate shoes to do so.
Do I have to RSVP?
Yes. An RSVP is required for everyone. It is essential in planning for the ceremony seating and reception meals. If we do not get an RSVP back by October 1st, it will be marked as a “No.”
Can I bring a guest/date?
We unfortunately can not accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. All invitations will include the names of those invited.
Are kids welcome?
Other than the children in the wedding party, we are keeping our special day an adult-only occasion.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all ringers and refrain from taking photos. We have professional photographers on hand to capture all the special moments and are excited to share their photos with you.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - get ready to celebrate!
What hotel can I book?
Caesar’s Southern Indiana Hotel & Casino is a mile and a half down the road from the venue. There is no hotel block so please plan accordingly for booking in advance to ensure it does not sell out. There are also several other hotels in the area if needed. We ask you to please plan in advance.
How do I get back to hotel?
If you are staying at the Southern IN Casino we will have a charter bus service making trips from 8:30-11:30pm. The service runs will be announced during the night. Please make the safe choice and take advantage of this service as we do not want anyone driving after drinking has been involved. Charter service will only be directed to the Casino hotel from the venue please arrange a way to arrive at venue for ceremony prior to 5pm.
Is there an after party?
Absolutely, let’s keep the night going! Feel free to join us at the Caesars Southern Indiana Casino. There is no formal meeting area we will be on the casino floor after reception is over.
