Shelby and Caleb meet at Camp War Eagle in Rogers, Arkansas. This photo was taken at the end of summer celebration!

After talking on and off for almost two years, Caleb drives six hours (through a tornado) to visit Shelby in Salina, KS. During our visit, we went to church, brunch, and even studied some.

Taking it back to where it all started, Caleb and Shelby worked at Camp War Eagle together, now as a couple! We ended up having campers of the same age, and spent a large amount of time together. It was special to serve the Lord alongside each other. In 2023, we returned to camp again, but this time, engaged! I guess you could say we really love that place and all the Lord has done through it.

After many hours on FaceTime and taking long drives, Caleb and Shelby celebrate six months of dating in Kansas City.This weekend we spent with friends from camp exploring the city. Caleb buys an engagement ring. While visiting Shelby on Spring break in March, I (Caleb) asked Shelby's dad to marry her!

Caleb proposed to Shelby in Arkansas! Shelby started the day early by driving to AR. We went to church and ended the day at my dads house with a cookout. After hanging out around the fire we took some family photos. I popped the question and she said YES! This day was one year after we said "I love you!"
