KI and Shelby met in the elevator of Ki's apartment in September of 2023 when KI gave Shelby and her friends cookies he had extra of. Their first date was to Chick Fil a few weeks later. They are still curious why Shelby went on a second date after how awkward it was, but they are so very grateful she did. They made it official in December of that year and have been best friends ever since. KI planned a surprise trip to San Diego at Ocean beach and proposed June 1st, 2025. We are so excited to celebrate with you all March 7th, 2026 and are even more excited to spend eternity with each other !

PARKING AT THE VENUE Parking is easy! The Madison Venue has a free parking lot directly behind the building on the north side. If that lot fills up, guests can park in the Junction Parking Garage just across the street. To get there, head toward Grant Avenue and enter the garage between 22nd and 24th Streets. It’s only a short walk back to the venue. ATTIRE We’re aiming for a polished, slightly dressy look—nothing too formal, but still above everyday casual. Please no jeans. The wedding party will be in black, and our colors are black with hints of green, so guests are welcome to complement that palette if they’d like.
