Their story began as just friends in 2017. Shelby was a sophomore at the University of Louisville, and Isaac was a freshman. They met through mutual friends who remain some of the most important people in their lives today. As their friendship deepened, so did their feelings for each other. In 2019, Shelby agreed to go on a casual date with Isaac. Who would have thought that this would only be the beginning of their story. They had just started dating when covid hit and they were quarantined together — talk about a crash course in commitment! While it was a difficult and uncertain time, it gave them the chance to spend quality time together. Since then, they’ve supported one another through major milestones—from Isaac earning a full football scholarship at UofL, to Shelby taking a job in Dallas (very short lived), they have grown as individuals and as a couple. Over the past five years, they’ve laughed, learned, and loved more than they ever imagined. Now, as their wedding day approaches, they couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people who have been by their side through it all!
