Cullen and Shelby met in 2021, but the two were carrying on different endeavors in life. They had only been aquatinted as mutual friends at the time. During the time between 2021 and 2024, the two achieved major milestones individually as they progressed in their own lives.
In April of 2024, Cullen and Shelby began to realize that their connection deepened beyond being friends. The two continued to spend time together in a large friend group that consisted of late nights and early mornings, but they eventually realized that their feelings could no longer be contained within the bounds of friendship. As they began to move past being friends, a beautiful relationship formed between the two.
Since Cullen and Shelby began their relationship, it has been a nonstop journey of joy, love, and laughter. In April of 2025, Cullen asked Shelby if she would marry him and he undoubtedly received an ecstatic “yes!”
