Their story began in 2018 at The Battery Atlanta, a spot where they both happened to be out with friends. Although they had attended Kennesaw State University for years at the same time, going to similar events and almost crossing paths, it wasn’t until that night that their paths finally merged together. Mason walked over to say hello to Bri, his childhood friend and Shelby’s maid of honor. What started as a casual hello turned into a fun night of dancing, and even though they didn’t exchange numbers, Mason wasn’t ready to let things end there.&nbsp; The next day, Mason found Shelby on Facebook and suggested they meet up again. For their first date, Mason convinced Shelby to go to a drive-in movie to see Marvel’s Endgame. Despite not being a huge movie fan (and even less of a Marvel fan), Shelby was excited, and wanted to spend more time with Mason. He showed up early to get her from her house, knocking on the front door like a true gentleman, with snacks and blankets set up in the car. It ended up being the perfect start for their story together — soon, they were texting constantly and spending every weekend together. Shelby fell for Mason's humor, sweetness, and infectious laughter at any funny movie or comedy show. Mason fell for Shelby's vibrant laughter, unstoppable drive, and her ability to see the silver lining in every situation. Over the past six years, they’ve grown side by side. They both graduated from college, launched their careers, and have supported one another through all of life’s twists and turns. A few years into their relationship, they added their beloved fur baby, Ralphie, to the mix. Ralphie has been spoiled with lots of love and ice cookies as they began to build their life as a little family. They’re convinced he’s the true star of this story! They couldn’t imagine life any other way, and they’re so excited to begin this next chapter together. They can’t wait to celebrate this moment with all of you!
