The two strangers carried on this pattern for months, never exchanging more than 6 words to each other at one time. Chris, comfortably posted up on a bar stool, and Shelby slinging drinks. It wasn’t until December 17th, when both soon-to-be love birds stepped away from their comfortable watering hole and ran into each other at an event for an old friend. The change of scenery was just enough to get them talking. In typical Shelby & Chris fashion, they barhopped the rest of the night, listened to karaoke, danced, laughed, and played darts. From that night on, you were hard pressed to find the one without the other. Over the next years, Shelby and Chris blended their families, met new friends, parented two awesome kids, and built their beautiful life. Eventually, Chris got down on one knee and proposed to Shelby at their favorite little spot. Following the proposal was a party full of family and friends to celebrate their engagement. A two year engagement left lots of time for wedding planning and the purchase/remodel of their first home. With the help of many family and friends, the house is finished and everyone is ready to move on to the next big adventure- the wedding!!
