Our story is one filled with beautiful memories and shared experiences, and we are excited to celebrate our journey with all of you.

It all began with Ben’s spontaneous trip to Saskatoon, where we spent the evening getting to know each other at Ag Night. Shelby quickly realized that dancing might not be Ben’s favorite thing to do, but he graciously let her teach him some two-stepping moves that night.

As the months went by, we grew closer and began to meet each other’s families. Ben passed the ultimate test of meeting Shelby’s protective brothers and quickly formed a bond with her entire family. Shelby, in turn, has been welcomed with open arms by Ben’s extended family, including cousins, aunts, uncles, and his immediate family. One highlight was how quickly Ben’s brother Brent became a close friend to Shelby, leading to nights filled with laughter, drinks, and Ben’s friendly reminders to keep things in check.

When Shelby finished her university degree in education, she moved to Lloydminster to begin her teaching career—a major milestone in our relationship. Not long after, we took the next step and started living together in Lloyd, marking another chapter in our shared story.

We are incredibly grateful for the memories we’ve made with each other’s families and are excited for many more to come. We’ve been lucky enough to witness the bright personalities of Shelby’s nieces and nephews, and we look forward to seeing even more little ones join the family.

From camping trips with friends to sunny days spent at the lake with Shelby’s family, fishing off the boat, and learning the ropes of farm life with Ben’s family during seeding and harvest, our journey has been filled with laughter, love, and growth. A special highlight was our trip to Mexico with our closest friends, as well as the simple, meaningful moments spent with family and friends in everyday conversations.

We feel so fortunate for the love and support we’ve received from everyone in our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate our big day with all of you. Thank you to everyone who has stood by us, supported us, and welcomed us into your lives since the beginning of our relationship.
