Our Wedding

We were set up on a blind date by our mutual friends, Jacob and Sarah Ogle. The date was at a bowling alley, where Shelby met all of Brandon’s friends at the same time she met him—talk about jumping right in! To make things even funnier, we showed up wearing the same color shirt and weren’t sure if we should go in for a handshake or a hug. After bowling, the group headed back to the Whetstone house, where Shelby got an unexpected surprise—meeting the parents on the very first night! Despite the nerves, everything felt easy, natural, and full of laughter. Looking back, it was the perfect beginning: casual, chaotic, and completely us.

How We Met

Our favorite date nights aren’t about grand gestures—they’re about being together. Whether we’re sharing a booth at Texas Roadhouse or heading to the movies hand-in-hand, cuddled up side by side, it’s the simple moments that mean the most. On quieter nights, you’ll find us at home, building Legos together, laughing, talking, and just soaking in each other’s company. No matter what we’re doing, if we’re together—it’s our kind of perfect.
