This beach is about an hour West of Traverse City, but it is very special to us! We visit Arcadia/Frankfort every year with family and this is where our engagement photos took place. Frankfort is a place full of memories for us, and has plenty of places to shop and dine as well. We highly recommend Stormcloud Brewery!

The Sleeping Bear Dunes are the world's largest collection of fresh water sand dunes, they are a sight to see! We recommend Pyramid Point hike if you are looking for a moderately challenging hike.

Jolly Pumpkin is located on Old Mission Peninsula and offers great beer and food!

Traverse City is wine country! Old Mission Peninsula Wine Trail has 10 wineries to visit with beautiful views of the bay. If you are a wine lover, this trail has some of our favorites.

Leelanau Peninsula also offers a wine trail with 8 different wineries.

If you are a whiskey lover, this is a must do while you're in town!
