It all started with a game of cornhole. We were out for a friend's birthday when he challenged me to a game. Sure, I'll play. Was I that good? Meh. Was I a little competitive? Yep. Not as much as he was though. Zach beat me. But I don't even remember who my partner was. I was too busy looking into his eyes and that beautiful smile. I even remember texting my friend that I was into him. The next day, I got a Facebook Message from Zach, "How you recovering from that L you took in cornhole?". That was it. He asked for my number. We went on a date and have been inseparable since. A year into our love, we found out we would be having a baby boy. A boy who would shake us, challenge us, bring us to our knees, but also make us love more than we ever imagined. Our families could not have been more perfect and accepting of this special child with Down Syndrome. I know there's no one else who could have stuck by my side through it all. The hospital stays, the long nights, the anxiety. The good and the bad, you're still the one I love. I'm excited to officially tie the knot! Also shoutout to Alex and Courtney Page. They inadvertently introduced us!
