In the fall of 2008 at Wurstfest, the annual German festival in New Braunfels, Shelby's cousin, Callie introduced us. We met for only a brief moment on that Sunday at Wurstfest, but soon after we got in contact with each other and went on our first date that following week!

.... Six years later, we went on a vacation with a group of friends to Colorado for Valentine's Day weekend. On the first day of vacation (Valentine's Day) we were all at the bottom of the mountain getting ready to go skiing, when Michael proposed. It was a great start to our vacation and the rest of our lives!

We are truly blessed to start this next chapter in our lives and we look forward to what God has in store for us. We are beyond excited to share our special day with each of you!
