Some love stories begin with a chance encounter...ours began with a swipe. Sean and Shelby met on Hinge over four years ago, and from that very first date at Burton's something just clicked - well, eventually. Sean was so nervous he could barely speak, but Shelby (true to herself) had enough words for the both of them. That night marked the start of something real: Shelby gave Sean the confidence to open up, and Sean brought Shelby the peace she never knew she needed. Looking back, we had so many near misses - places we could have met when we were younger, moments when our paths nearly crossed. But the universe waited until just the right time to bring us together. We've grown up side by side, not only becoming partners, but each other's biggest cheerleaders. Sean supported Shelby as she chased her dream of becoming a teacher, steady through the long nights and lesson planning chaos. Shelby stood by Sean as he built a new path as a mechanic, believing in his talent even before he fully did. We are opposites in the best ways - Shelby is all the beautiful chaos, and Sean is the calm that keeps things grounded. We balance each other perfectly. We share a love of Harry Potter and Star Wars, but an even deeper love for each other. More than anything, we are best friends. And now, we can't wait to start this next chapter surrounded by the people we love the most!

Charlotte and Shelby met when she was assigned as her kindergarten TA, and what started as helping with crayons and story time turned into the most amazing friendship. She’s not just her best friend—she’s her person. They tell each other everything (seriously, nothing is off-limits), and Charlotte’s been her biggest cheerleader, sounding board, and partner in crime ever since.

Chris is Sean's younger brother and closest confidant—the kind of bond forged through years of shared mischief, inside jokes, and more than one broken window (don’t ask). Whether they were teaming up in childhood schemes or navigating life as adults, Chris has always been by Sean's side. Fun fact: he was also the one who introduced him to Hinge… so, in a way, this wedding might never have happened without him.

Dylan has been Shelbys ride-or-die since 8th grade, and together they’ve navigated every phase of life—from questionable fashion choices, awkward teenage years, major life moments, and everything in between. She's been my go-to for laughs, advice, and late-night rants ever since. Dylan has been a constant in Shelby's life, offering unwavering support and laughter. She’s not just a bridesmaid; she’s family.

Forest is Sean's cousin, longtime roommate, and all-around partner in fun. These two spent years living together, turning wrenches in the garage, and fully embracing their bachelor days—think late nights, loud music, and just enough responsibility to keep things interesting. Whether they were fixing cars or figuring out life, Forest was always someone Sean could count on. Having shared so many chapters together, it’s only fitting that Forest stands by his side for this next one.

Carrie and Shelby met while teaching kindergarten—she was just down the hall in another classroom, and it didn’t take long before they were swapping stories, sharing snacks, and becoming fast friends. Their bond was built on laughter, daily check-ins, plenty of spilled tea (the fun kind), and random adventures that always keep life interesting.

Robbie is Sean's older cousin, but honestly, he’s always felt more like an older brother. From playing pranks to dropping subtle comments, Robbie’s been a constant source of both mischief and good vibes. He’s the guy who could always be counted on to scare Sean at just the right moment or light up any family gathering with his unique brand of humor. Robbie has been by Sean's side through it all.

Emily and Shelby became friends freshman year of high school thanks to pure locker placement luck—they were neighbors in the hallway and quickly realized they had way more in common than just school schedules. Since then, they've made countless memories, from beach trips to lake trips, soaking up the sun and laughing until they cried. Emily has been by Shelby's side through it all.

Steven is Shelby's older brother, and in every sense of the word, he’s been her rock. Growing up, they shared everything—from childhood secrets to life’s big milestones—and she always knew she could count on him to be there, no matter what. When Sean first met Steven, he immediately knew he was gaining more than just a brother-in-law—he was gaining a cool older brother too. With his steady presence, unwavering support, and easygoing vibe, Steven has always been someone you want by your side.

Malorie and Shelby became fast friends working together at the winery—bonding over tasting flights, nonstop laughter, and riding around in the golf cart like they owned the place. They loved coming to work when they knew they were on the same shift, because it guaranteed good vibes, great company, and probably too much fun that they were going to hear about later from their managers.

Miguel may not be family by blood, but he’s been family by choice from day one. He’s the one who first introduced the groom to the world of cars, sparking a shared passion that has only grown over the years. More than that, Miguel has been a constant source of support—always there to listen, encourage, and offer a space where the groom could truly be himself. Like another brother, Miguel has stood by the groom through thick and thin.
