It all started at a hospital, yes, a hospital, our workplace to be exact. This is where I first laid my eyes on Shelby and was instantly drawn by her golden hair and beautiful polychromatic eyes. Her overall quirkiness and bubbly personality drew me more and more each day, I realized I was falling in love. Quickly becoming friends, I decided to ask her out in such confidence. Of course, I was instantly rejected, but I was determined to get the girl of my dreams. After the awkward period wore off, I decide to ask if I could hang out with her and her friends. Thankfully, she said yes, which is when I met Alexis, who eventually became my wingman. Over the course of eight months, we grew closer and closer until we were both drawn to each other. On June 13th, 2022, I ask her out again to our local brunch place, but this time she said yes. There, we officially became a couple. One month later, Shelby declares her love for me. More month’s pass, and we move to Florida together. Many more fly by, and soon enough, I engage to her on June 11th, 2023. The moments leading up to this were some of the most gut wrenching in my life, but I knew she would say yes, and we could spend forever together. The girl I laid my eyes on at the hospital was finally mine. Today, and here I am, writing our forever story and counting down the days until I can call her my wife.
One day as I was walking into work, I saw a new guy being trained. He had long dark curly hair and rich dark caramel eyes. We met eyes and I remember my first impression of him was that he was definitely a lady’s man. I was drawn to his goofiness and personality, so we clicked instantly and began to hang outside of work. I knew immediately that he had a crush on me and knew what was coming the night he first asked me out. I said no, not because I didn’t like him, but because I didn’t know him or his intentions well enough yet. My idea of this Casanova was still circulating, so I decided if he really likes me then he will put in the effort to show me. Sure enough, over the course of eight months, he proved to me how much he cared about me and with the help of his wingman Alexis, we became a lot closer. On June 13th, 2022, he asked me on date to brunch and I said yes. Again, I knew the question he was about to ask, but this time my answer had changed. He asked me to be his girlfriend and we officially became a couple that day. A month later, he gave me Covid. On what felt like my deathbed, I professed my love for him, my first and only love. Shortly after, we moved to Florida together, where he proposed to me on June 11th, 2023. Again, I knew the question that was coming and again my answer was yes, but this time I was saying yes to spending the rest of my life with the man who stole my heart.
