HOW WE MET

Chris and Shelby first met in 2016, while Chris was serving in the United States Navy and Shelby was visiting a friend stationed at the same base. Not long after, Shelby moved to California and spent lots of time with her best friend, Kristen, and coincidentally, Kristen's brother, Chris.

Although they only shared a friendship, it became a meaningful part of both of their lives. They eventually went their separate ways, continuing to grow and navigate life.

In 2022, they reconnected and since then they've been inseparable, thankful that life led them back together when the timing was finally right!

We won't be mad if you wear overalls (Dad), but we will judge you.

Ceremony Theme: Dark Jewel Tones

We actually don't care what you wear, but please keep in mind it will be cold! If you'd like to fit the theme, the ceremony will be more formal with the bridal party wearing floor length dresses in dark jewel tones. Groomsmen will be in suits.

RECEPTION/AFTER PARTY THEME: Disco!

Disco attire is encouraged. Restraint is optional. We recommend bringing along something comfortable if you'll be staying for the Reception/After Party. Feel free to bring tennis shoes, sweaters, bell bottoms and sequins. There will be plenty of room to store your items in a safe place onsite if you are planning to change!

ARE YOU REGISTERED? WHERE?

No, we do not want or need anything. We are happy just to spend the day with our favorite people. If you feel the need to purchase anything, George loves stuffed animals!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

No, but there is a theme. For the ceremony, dress warm and in dark jewel tones. For the reception/after party, wear your most groovy outfit! ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Yes! Please include kids when RSVPing so we can be sure they are fed.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?

Ceremony starts promptly at 4pm. Please arrive by 3:30pm so you can be seated. If you are part of the processional, we will reach out to you for your arrival time.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

Appetizer will be served during cocktail hour. Dinner will be buffet style so no need to make a selection prior to the wedding. We tried our best to pick options suitable for everyone and there's a ton of options. Text Shelby or Chris for more info!

IS THE BAR OPEN OR CASH?

The bar is OPEN, baby! (But you will be limited to well)
