15 minute drive west of Port Angeles. Clear blue-green waters surrounded by old growth forested mountains with a variety of fun hikes. A fjord over 5000 acres in surface area and up to 600 feet deep. Rent a kayak or canoe, hike, take an ice plunge, enjoy a meal or drink at the lodge or just come to enjoy the beauty.

Visit Beautiful Lake Crescent

30 minute drive up the mountain just south of Port Angeles. Get a 360 degree view of the glacier topped mountains, the Straight of Juan de Fuca, Port Angeles, and Victoria, BC. 

Drive to the top of Hurricane Ridge

Walk along the longest spit in the US, ocean waves lapping up on either side of you on a sandy beach which is a bird sanctuary with a historic lighthouse at the end. 

Walk Dungeness Spit 

Two hour drive from Port Angeles. Gorgeous old growth forest, lush mosses and ferns. Hall of Mosses is an easy stroll through a magical place.

Hoh Rainforest

Short (0.1 mile) gentle incline (46 feet elevation gain) hike to beautiful waterfall near the Elwha River

Shelby and Christine met while living on opposite coasts, Shelby on Venice Beach in Los Angeles and Christine on Miami Beach. Brought together by their long-time mutual friend, who welcomed Christine into their Burning Man camp. Christine was interested in Shelby the first time she saw him on a Zoom meeting. The first time they met in person while building their Burning Man camp in LA, Christine began to give not-too-subtle hints and Shelby eventually got them over the following months. They started long distance until the pandemic brought them closer together when the world shut down.They have been making each other laugh with their deeply similar humor, loving and caring for each other with their supportive and kind hearts, and growing together every day ever since. When they look into each others eyes, it feels like home.Many years went by to find the right one… true love will find you in the end. ❤️
