In September 2021, our good friend Emily mentioned to Shelby and Parker independently “I think I have someone I want to set you up with”… we were both all for it! Emily, a coworker of Shelby’s was/is and now engaged to Parker’s friend Bryce from grade school. 
Several weeks go by and Emily forgot to send either of them each others phone numbers. Until, one random Thursday Shelby receives a contact number for Parker, she freaked out a little and had to text all of her friends for help to craft the most perfect first message! We texted for about a week … bonding over the World Series… a sport that neither of us really payed much attention too, but GO BRAVES!
We met on on November 5 at Tin Roof! Shelby had to do her research and found out what Parker looked like, but Parker went in sight unseen for an actual blind date. Parker says that the moment Shelby came in, the music started blaring… we moved outside but it was a cold November night, so we walked to Saints, which is a place we often visit!!
From the first night of meeting, we hit it off. From there, we have traveled far and wide, from the Vinyards of California to the Big Apple, Auburn, and many other places. We have watched our love grow and so thankful to have been brought together!
